What animals make the best/worst pets?

I’ve always been a dog guy. I think they make the best pets. I’m not going to say what the worst one is because everyone can have a good pet no matter the species. I’ve had other pets like frogs, rats, and lizards, but I’ve always loved dogs and vice versa. I think a dog is the best companion for the fact that they are proven to calm you down in times of high stress and anxiety and don’t forget the ultimate home security, I think. When I was kid, in the 3rd grade. I come home from school, and I see my mom and dad in the backyard after I walk in the house. They tell me to come outside, and my dad said he had something to show me and my dad whistles and here comes this big bear looking of a dog and a kid that’s in the 3rd grade you look at a dog like that as a giant but good thing he was a gentle giant. He was a mixed breed of a German Shephard and a black lab. Just imagine a German Shephard’s body with a Lab’s head. That’s where my love for dogs came from, and that boy was my bodyguard for 10 years. Named him Bear because he definitely looked like one. The dog in the main photo of this post was my most recent dog, Kane. He was a Dutch Shepherd. On days we’re all taken for walks. People would be afraid of him because people thought he looked like a hyena and that boy was my shadow. I mean, literally, my shadow. He was so attracted to me to the point where I am away for no more than a few minutes he would start howling like crazy and he was a great protector and that’s what I look for in a dog. A mean looking gentle giant but still would protect you with his life, and that was definitely my Kane. My truck was definitely his second home aside from his spot on the couch. He loved being in that truck and taking a ride. I’ve had other pets over the years, but my dogs stand out the most.

My Bearded Dragon, Stella. She lived 12 years. These Lizards are awesome pets. Good temperament and non-aggressive. She was very chill in and out of the tank.
